I just so happened to have come across this brand by chance. I was at work looking through a beauty business magazine when I noticed them on the brand spotlight page. What really caught my eye was that they use an ingredient called Mastica, which is a tree sap found primarily on the island of Chios in Greece, which is wear my Dad is from. I contacted the owner and she was kind enough to send me over the foundation. I instantly fell in love the first time I put this on. I have dry sensitive skin and the added serums were beneficial in adding extra hydration and evening out my skin tone. Each foundation is formulated with a “bio-active proprietary complex of vitamins, marine extracts and holistic botanical-derived ingredients.”
- Vitamins C & E – antioxidant protection, skin brightening and moisturizing;
- Botanical-Derived Hydroxyproline – Triple firming action, moisturizing, skin plumping;
- Laminaria Ochroleuca Extract – skin immunity booster, anti-inflammatory agent;
- Mastic Gum – tightens pores, controls oil, refines skin
I fall between the shades 2 and 3 because I am pretty fair and don’t like to warm. I keep my canvas neutral and add warmth with a light bronzer. I would consider these to put a natural to full coverage foundation because it layers pretty well.
Colors are limited as there are only 8, so the trial pack is a great way to get a feel for the brand. Check them out:
